Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to enter into an agreement with LeanPivot Solutions for the LeanSuccess Platform. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide during setup is accurate and truthful.

As a licensed institution, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and controlling access to the platform within your organization. Please use strong authentication methods and maintain security protocols. If you suspect any unauthorized access, notify us immediately. We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to secure your account.

The LeanSuccess Platform is provided for use in educational programs. You agree to use it responsibly in accordance with these terms. This means you will not:

LeanPivot Solutions offers various subscription plans tailored to the needs of different institutions. Pricing and billing terms are specified in separate agreements between LeanPivot Solutions and each institution. All fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in your agreement.

Payment terms, including billing cycles, accepted payment methods, and late payment policies, are outlined in your specific agreement with LeanPivot Solutions. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, bank fees, or currency conversion charges.

We reserve the right to modify our service offerings, pricing, and plan features. For existing customers, significant changes will be communicated in advance as specified in your agreement.

LeanPivot Solutions (and its underlying software, algorithms, and content) is owned by us (LeanPivot Solutions, LLC and its licensors) and protected by intellectual property laws. This includes the platform design, logos, and any text or materials we provide. You agree not to copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you create using the platform - including educational materials, curricula, and student work products. We do not claim ownership of your intellectual property. However, by licensing our platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the service.

Institutions are responsible for ensuring student privacy and data protection in accordance with applicable laws (such as FERPA, GDPR) when implementing the platform. LeanPivot Solutions provides tools to support compliance but is not responsible for institutional implementation of privacy measures.

The LeanSuccess Platform provides tools, frameworks, and other educational resources for informational purposes only. All content is designed to support entrepreneurship education programs and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. The platform is intended as a tool for institutions to deliver educational content to their students, not as a direct service to end users.

• Platform content does not constitute legal, financial, investment, accounting, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
• Institutions using the platform should consult with qualified professionals when developing their educational programs.
• Use of the LeanSuccess Platform does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, or other fiduciary relationship between LeanPivot Solutions and end users of institutional programs.

Institutions are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of how they implement and use the LeanSuccess Platform in their educational programs. By licensing the platform, institutions represent and warrant that they have all necessary rights and permissions to use the platform in accordance with applicable laws and that their use does not infringe the rights of any third party.

LeanPivot Solutions provides the LeanSuccess Platform as a tool for educational institutions. We are not responsible for how institutions choose to implement the platform in their programs, the content they create using the platform, or the educational outcomes of their students.

We provide the LeanSuccess Platform to you "as is" and "as available". While we aim for excellence, we make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your specific educational needs. For example, we do not guarantee that using our platform will result in improved educational outcomes or student success. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event will LeanPivot Solutions, LLC (or its founders, employees, partners, or affiliates) be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, or special damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, business interruption, or loss of information arising out of the use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
